Professional Speakers Bureau
A speakers bureau moved tens of thousands of speaker and client records from a legacy CRM into Sales Cloud, replacing a manual inbound lead process with automated website capture and round-robin assignment.
A company representing professional speakers for corporate events had been running its sales process in a legacy contact management system. With a growing lead volume and eleven sales reps, the team needed a CRM that could route inbound inquiries automatically, house speaker and client data in one place, and connect to the marketing tools already in use.
The challenge
Around 27,000 records covering speakers and clients lived in the legacy system with data quality issues, including missing name fields, multi-value email entries, and activity data that needed restructuring before migration. Inbound leads were going to a shared inbox and distributed manually, and marketing lists were segmented by rep with no connection back to the CRM.
The solution
SiiMPLY7 implemented Sales Cloud with a defined lead process, round-robin assignment rules for the eleven-rep team, and web-to-lead capture connecting the company website directly to Salesforce. The team assessed the legacy data, established a clean export and mapping process, and migrated the speaker and client records. An email marketing integration connected existing lists to contact records in Salesforce.
