Smart Access Control Company
A smart lock and access control company launched Salesforce CPQ across about 1,000 SKUs and three currencies, connected to billing and tax.
A smart access control company sells locks, hardware, and subscription software to property managers and businesses. Its catalog had grown to around a thousand SKUs across hardware, software, and services, sold in several currencies.
The challenge
Quoting relied on a spreadsheet pricing calculator and manual steps. Tiered pricing, bundles, discounts, and approvals were hard to apply consistently, taxes were calculated separately, and orders and subscriptions had to be re-entered in the ERP.
The solution
SiiMPLY7 implemented Salesforce CPQ with about 1,000 product SKUs, ten configurable bundles, list and tiered pricing, discount tiers by product family, and advanced approval chains, in USD, EUR, and CAD. Renewals and amendments were configured, order form templates built, and integrations added for NetSuite orders and subscriptions, DocuSign signatures, and Avalara tax on quotes.
