Precision Glass & Optical Materials Manufacturer
A scientific glass manufacturer got a clear Salesforce roadmap, plus quote templates for each product line and automatic email capture.
A manufacturer of precision optical materials, sight windows, glass domes, sapphire products, and aviation and space windows serving aerospace, defense, semiconductor, and life sciences markets quotes stock, custom, and outsourced parts to engineering customers. A small sales team used Sales Cloud but needed an outside review and targeted fixes.
The challenge
Quote documents did not fit the company's four ways of selling: stock parts, two types of custom work, and buyouts. Email with customers lived outside Salesforce, and the team was not sure how well the org was set up for what it needed next.
The solution
SiiMPLY7 started with an analysis and architectural review of the org and outlined recommendations. The team then built and tested quote templates for each of the four product categories using real part numbers from quote history, and set up Einstein Activity Capture so the sales team's email is logged automatically.
