Land Conservation Nonprofit
A land conservation nonprofit connected event ticketing to Salesforce, so every ticket and donation lands on the right household record automatically.
A regional land conservation nonprofit runs community events and fundraisers alongside its donor program. It used Salesforce with the Nonprofit Success Pack, while event tickets were sold through a separate ticketing platform.
The challenge
Ticket buyers and donors from events had to be entered into Salesforce by hand. New attendees were not captured as households, ticket revenue and donations were mixed together, and payment details were missing from the donor record.
The solution
SiiMPLY7 built an integration using Zapier that creates Salesforce records whenever an order is placed on the ticketing platform. It matches buyers to existing household accounts or creates new ones, records ticket sales and donations as separate opportunities, and includes payment details on each.
