K-12 Education Software Company
A K-12 education software company replaced document-based quoting with Salesforce CPQ for multi-year, multi-fee school district proposals.
An education technology company sells an all-in-one college and career readiness platform to K-12 school districts, covering career exploration, course planning, work-based learning, state compliance, and reporting. Proposals combined license, implementation, and support fees over multiple years, and quoting ran through a separate document tool.
The challenge
Building a district proposal meant manual pricing work across several fee types, with volume discounts and multiple approvals handled by hand. Multi-year deals were hard to report on, which weakened forecasting, and quotes lived outside Salesforce.
The solution
SiiMPLY7 implemented Salesforce CPQ with configured products and price books, a bundle for license, implementation, and support, pricing rules, volume discounts, and approvals. Renewals and amendments were built in, in-flight quotes moved over from the old document tool, and DocuSign and QuickBooks integrations connected signature and invoicing.
