Residential Home Services Contractor
A fast-growing home services contractor replaced manual job intake with a Salesforce Field Service system that turns inbound emails into scheduled, dispatched work orders.
The client is a residential construction and home services contractor managing a field crew of technicians across new installation and service jobs. Rapid growth had outpaced its ability to track jobs, schedule appointments, and keep field and office teams in sync. SiiMPLY7 implemented Salesforce Field Service to automate work order creation, assignment, scheduling, and mobile execution end to end.
The challenge
Job requests arrived by email with no structured way to convert them into trackable work, and scheduling and dispatch were handled manually. As the business grew, staff turnover and inconsistent processes made it hard to keep a reliable record of jobs in flight or to give technicians clear assignments in the field. The client needed a single system that could capture work from email, schedule it, and follow each job through to completion.
The solution
SiiMPLY7 deployed Salesforce Field Service with a core configuration built around the client's service workflow. Inbound emails flow through Email-to-Case and automatically generate work orders, which auto-assignment rules route to the right crew. Office staff schedule appointments that trigger automatic email confirmations, technicians work jobs from the Field Service mobile app, and status automation plus job-closing logic keep records current from intake to completion.
