A contractor specializing in environmental construction services, including fuel tank systems, underground storage tank removal, environmental remediation, and compliance work, bids projects with many line items and frequent change orders. It used Sales Cloud and Conga for proposals, but quoting and changes relied on slow manual steps.
The challenge
Building a quote was manual, repetitive, and error-prone, and opportunities and quotes often fell out of sync. Change orders were added to the original opportunity, so proposals showed every bid item and had to be reversed by hand when a customer declined the change.
The solution
SiiMPLY7 built a custom quote editor that supports multiple lines for the same product, one-click line copying, and live calculations, and fixed the opportunity and quote sync. The team also designed a separate change order process so change proposals show only the changed items and declined changes leave the original deal untouched.
