AI Compute Cloud Provider
An AI compute cloud provider stood up a structured Sales Cloud pipeline in under six weeks, replacing ad hoc tracking with a single, prospect-rich system of record.
The client is a Series A GPU compute marketplace that gives AI teams flexible, on-demand access to large-scale GPU clusters — from a handful of H100s for an hour to hundreds of nodes for weeks — with transparent hourly pricing, no long-term contracts, and the ability to sell back unused capacity. Founded in 2023 and backed by DCVC, Wing Venture Capital, and others, SF Compute operates at the intersection of AI infrastructure and marketplace dynamics, serving fast-moving research teams and companies training and running inference at scale. Pipeline was being tracked informally as the business grew, with no consistent way to manage leads, opportunities, or account relationships. Leadership engaged SiiMPLY7 to stand up Sales Cloud quickly and enrich it with reliable prospect data so the team could sell with structure from day one.
The challenge
Deal activity was outrunning the tools the team used to track it, and lead, opportunity, and account data lived across disconnected places. Without a shared pipeline, forecasting was guesswork and follow-up depended on individual memory. The company needed a working CRM, plus dependable account and contact intelligence, fast enough to keep pace with a compressed go-live window.
The solution
SiiMPLY7 implemented Sales Cloud as the system of record, configuring lead management, opportunity management, account and contact management, approval workflows, email templates, and reports and dashboards. The team installed and configured Apollo and Crunchbase Pro connectors so reps could enrich accounts and contacts with firmographic and funding data directly in Salesforce. A staged data migration moved existing accounts, contacts, and leads into the new org with validated field mappings.

The team moved from informal deal tracking to a structured pipeline with dashboards and enriched prospect data in a single, compressed engagement.
What's next
Likely next phases include deeper sales process automation, tighter integration with billing and provisioning systems as GPU capacity sells, and expanded reporting as the pipeline matures. Marketing automation and lead-scoring would be natural follow-on investments once the core pipeline is established.
